How does the Bathroom Sponge work?

The Bathroom Sponge is double-sided making it perfect for loosening tough stains and cleaning-up quick messes commonly found in the bathroom.

The unique wedge-shaped fibres are 100x finer than a single human hair and work to loosen dirt, stains and bacteria from bathroom surfaces. Super-fine fibres combined with just water lift dirt and bacteria from surfaces by capillary action.

The effectiveness of ENJOtex Fibres decreases slowly over time due to general wear. If you’ve been using your Bathroom Sponge for about 3 years, check for general wear, the fibres might be thinning in some areas or may have started to clump and become less effective.

Can I use my Bathroom Sponge with other cleaning products?

ENJOtex Fibres are designed to effectively clean with just water. If you have stubborn bathroom stains such as mineral build-up, we recommend using your bathroom fibres with our Calcium Dissolver. Containing high-quality fruit acids, Calcium Dissolver helps lift heavy mineral deposits without toxic fumes and without damaging your ENJOtex Fibres.

My Bathroom Sponge has started to smell, how can I prevent this?

Following light cleaning tasks, make sure you thoroughly rinse your fibre and hang to dry, use a little hand soap as required. Avoid leaving dirty fibres to dry-out before washing. Rinse thoroughly or allow to soak before machine washing.

How often should I wash my Bathroom Sponge?

Following light cleaning tasks rinse your Bathroom Sponge in hot water and allow to air dry. If your Bathroom Sponge is heavily soiled, soak in warm water for a few hours before machine washing.

How do I wash my Bathroom Sponge?

Wash your Bathroom Sponge (and any other ENJOtex Fibres) in your ENJO Laundry Bag at 40–60°C with an environmentally-friendly detergent and leave to air dry. Avoid fabric softeners and tumble drying.

Will my Bathroom Sponge kill bacteria and mould?

Cleaning without chemicals means ENJO products don’t kill bacteria or mould. However, they do effectively remove bacteria and mould by trapping material from surfaces within the fibre’s weave.
