How does the Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth work?

The Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth is made up of fibres and a weave designed to be absorbent and cut through grease and grime commonly found in the kitchen. The unique wedge-shaped fibres are 100x finer than a single human hair and work to loosen dirt and bacteria. Super-fine fibres combined with water lift dirt and bacteria from surfaces by capillary action.

After cleaning, dry the surface with the super-absorbent Kitchen Miracle to prevent bacteria from growing.

How long can I clean with my Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth?

ENJO cleaning products are designed to be washable/reusable and long-lasting. If you care for your Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth, it will effectively clean your kitchen for approximately 3 years. Learn more about cleaning and caring for your fibres.

When should I replace my Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth?

The effectiveness of ENJOtex Fibres decreases slowly over time. If you’ve been using your Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth for about 3 years, check for general wear, the fibres might be thinning in some areas or may have started to clump and become less effective.

Can I use my Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth with other cleaning products?

ENJOtex Fibres are designed to effectively clean with water only. If you have stubborn kitchen stains such as burnt-on oven grime, we recommend using your kitchen fibres with our Marble Paste. A biodegradable mild abrasive that helps kitchen fibres loosen tough kitchen stains safely without damaging your ENJOtex Fibres.

My Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth has started to smell, how can I prevent this?

Following light cleaning tasks, make sure you thoroughly rinse your fibre and hang to dry, use a little hand soap as required. Avoid leaving dirty fibres to dry-out before washing. Rinse thoroughly or allow to soak before machine washing.

How often should I wash my Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth?

As a kitchen favourite and cleaning all-rounder, we recommend having a couple of Kitchen Allpurpose Cloths on a weekly rotation and wash as you feel necessary. Following light cleaning tasks, rinse your fibre in hot water (this will release grease) then allow to air dry. If the Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth is heavily soiled soak in warm water for a few hours before machine washing.

How do I wash my Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth?

Wash your Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth (and any other ENJOtex fibres) in your ENJO Laundry Bag at 40–60°C with a natural detergent and leave to air dry. Avoid fabric softeners and tumble drying.

Does my Kitchen Allpurpose Cloth kill bacteria?

Cleaning without chemicals means ENJO products don’t kill bacteria. However, they do effectively remove bacteria by trapping material from surfaces within the fibre’s weave. Dry the surface after cleaning to keep bacteria at bay.

This cloth beats any other kitchen cloth I have ever used - hands down! It stays fresh (I rotate 3 of them so wash one every few days) and never smells, rinses easily, wipes up grease (eg after frying pan use) very efficiently (with no soap used), and lasts for years. It also does a great job as a regular washing up dishcloth, when I do use soap. In fact Enjo had to remind me to replace it!
