What is the shelf life of Calcium Dissolver?

Calcium Dissolver has the recommended shelf life of 12 months after opening. Please note, other than a conventional calcium remover, our Calcium Dissolver is made from natural ingredients, this means that the colour and viscosity may vary and change over time, this does not affect the quality of the product.

What are the ingredients of Calcium Dissolver?

Citric acid, lactic acid, amidosulphuric acid, non-ionic surfactants (sugar surfactants), amphoteric surfactants (betaine), water, orange peel oil (contains limonene) and lemongrass oil.

Can I use my Calcium Dissolver to clean stains on any surface?

Our Calcium Dissolver is mild making it safe to use on most hard surfaces in your home. However, our Calcium Dissolver isn’t suitable for use on marble, granite, brass, gold or Corian surfaces. We always recommend reading the manufacturer details on any special fixtures, fitting or coatings you have in your home and testing on an inconspicuous area first. Do not leave to act on delicate surfaces for extended periods.

How does Calcium Dissolver work on stains?

Calcium Dissolver is designed to work with ENJOtex Fibres by helping dissolve built-up layers of mineral deposits in your bathroom and laundry. The high-quality fruit acids attack the stain and surfactants act as a cleaning intensifier, allowing ENJOtex Fibres to lift away the layers. No harsh ingredients, no toxic fumes – simply lift the stain and rinse away residue. A natural alternative o any other calcium remover.

How much Calcium Dissolver do I need to use?

A little of our Calcium Dissolver goes a long way, however, the amount required depends on the cleaning task. A few drops of Calcium Dissolver directly to the fibre should suffice to treat targeted stains. Leave the Calcium Dissolver to treat the stain for a few minutes before rinsing off and drying surface, avoid leaving for extended periods.

The colour and texture of my Calcium Dissolver has changed, is this normal?

The natural plant and mineral-based ingredients in our Calcium Dissolver mean the colour and texture vary depending on the temperature and light. If stored below 10°C your Calcium Dissolver may appear cloudy. This does not impact the effectiveness of the product.

Can I use Calcium Dissolver to clean my toilet bowl?

Yes, our Calcium Dissolver embraces natural ingredients omitting phosphates, parabens, Polyethylene Glycol (PEG), Ethylenediaminetetraacetic (EDTA) and Nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA), which are often added to conventional calcium dissolvers and can have an impact on the environment.

To remove urine scale and limescale deposits from the toilet bowl, add 1–2 tablespoons of Calcium Dissolver to your toilet bowl and allow it to work for two hours. Clean with the Bathroom Handy Set and flush.

Does the Calcium Dissolver remove hardened calcium?

The ENJO Calcium Dissolver works just as well as conventional calcium removers. We avoid harsh chemicals that might damage your surfaces. Remove thick limescale, and stubborn grime easily with powerful natural acids. For stubborn calcium spots, let the calcium remover sink in for 30 minutes before tackling the calcium.

Fantastic Product

I’ve been using Enjo Calcium Dissolver for over 20 years and it’s brilliant. It removes built-up calcium from shower glass, tiles and taps better than anything else I’ve tried, without the harsh chemical fumes. It’s expensive, around $40 for 300 ml, but you use so little that it lasts for ages. I’ve tried to find something cheaper, but nothing works as well.

In the past I have used the Marble Paste on my shower glass and tiles and I have been very happy with the result. Effortless cleaning. When I ran out of the marble paste and had to re-order I thought I would also order the Calcium Dissolver and give it a go. I used it for the very first time over a week ago on the shower glass and tiles and wow they came up sparkling. One week on and they still look amazingly clean. Ok but was hoping for more

I found this cleaner was great for those shower screens that weren't already affected by calcium build up. Made the glass sparkly clean. Was a little disappointed it didn't lift off all the calcium in the main bathroom even after numerous tries with the bath sponge.

I have been using Enjo and this calcium dissolver for over 17 years. This product works with bore water and hard water. For built up calcium try leaving the product to soak (use kitchen paper which when wet with the calcium dissolver will virtually stick on to the shower screen or whatever). Great for all those areas at the base of taps too. Love this stuff.
