Do you have questions about making the switch to ENJO in your kitchen? Here are our top 5 most-asked questions answered
Unlike some areas in the home, the kitchen gets the most attention when it comes to cleaning, and for good reason.
We recently answered our top 5 most-asked questions, here are our top 5 most-asked questions kitchen questions.
1. Is it safe to clean your kitchen without chemicals?
The kitchen is where you prepare food, handle unwashed vegetables and raw meat, it's important the cleaning supplies you're using work effectively.
Working with just water, ENJO Kitchen Fibres are designed to cut through grease and grime that’s usually found in the kitchen.
This is how it works.
The fibres themselves are 100 times finer than a human hair and each fibre has a unique wedge shape.
The size and shape of the fibres help them do three important things:
1. Reach into pores on surfaces for a deep clean.
2. Produce a large surface for effective loosening of stains.
3. Create a capillary action lifting dirt into the fibre.
Unlike disposable cleaning cloths, the fibres lift the dirt away from the surface. It stays trapped in the fibre's weave and doesn’t transfer as you clean another surface.
When cleaning with ENJO fibres you always follow-up by drying the surface with an ENJO Miracle, this is important too.
No chemical residue means it's safe to prepare food directly on an ENJO-clean surface without rinsing.
2. Do I still need to use chemicals, what about bacteria?
Bacteria live everywhere, and they aren't always harmful, but raw and unwashed foods increase the chance of introducing bacteria that could make you unwell.
Cleaning without chemicals is completely safe and effective.
ENJO cleaning products work with just water so they won't kill bacteria like chemicals designed for sanitising and disinfecting, but they do physically remove them.
By using an ATP bioluminescent test (which detects food and microbial-related residues on a surface) we compared the amount of food and microbial-residue after cleaning with ENJO versus antibacterial wipes.
If ATP is present, the Lumitester machine splits the energy, releasing light, which is measured by the machine as relative light units (RLU).
The more bacteria and dirt present on the surface the higher the RLU.
Cleaning with ENJO is a 3-step process wet, wipe, dry. Drying is an important step in helping slow bacterial growth.

3. What ENJO product should I use to clean my oven?
Cleaning the inside of your oven tends to be more infrequent than your stovetop or oven door.
This means there’s usually a build-up which makes the process more of a chore.
Our top tips for oven-cleaning with ENJO include heating a bowl of water (in an oven-proof bowl) to loosen heavy build-up first.
Make sure the oven is cool before you start cleaning with Your Kitchen Fibre.
Always start cleaning the cleanest areas of the oven first, working your way to the real grime.
4. How often should I wash my kitchen fibres?
Washing and caring for your fibres is important.
Following light cleaning tasks with the kitchen range, rinse with hot water and allow to air dry.
If the products are heavily soiled, soak in warm water for a few hours before machine washing.
Wash your fibres in your ENJO laundry bag, between 40-60 degrees with detergent only, softeners can coat the fibres and make them less effective.
