DECLUTTER AND REORGANISE

Our home is our hideaway, we spend time filling our homes with our most prized possessions and they should be our favourite place. But as life can get in the way of even the most conscientious homeowner, clutter can build before we’ve even realised it. Cluttered space, whether it be in your main living area or just the laundry, can prevent you from actually relaxing and enjoying your space at home…it can be a big distraction too.

Start by identifying the most cluttered areas in your home and then prioritise the areas most in need of attention first. In that order work at decluttering one space at a time, over time. Trying to do it all in one hit can be overwhelming and you’re unlikely to declutter most effectively.

Try and keep your declutter organised, keep the items that are appropriate for recycling, upcycling or for charity shop donations together, and set yourself a deadline for actually getting rid of your clutter…just because your clutter is now organised all in one space doesn’t change the fact that this is still clutter.
