All you need to know about a way to clean your bathroom that's kind and chemical-free
Cleaning the bathroom, someone’s got to do it and let’s face it, a sparkly clean bathroom feels so good.
The bathroom tends to be the smallest room in the home, which should mean cleaning is quick – but poor ventilation, high humidity and water use make it hard to keep clean. Regularly cleaning will help make your cleaning-life easier, and also help prevent more sinister problems like mould, but how do you clean your bathroom without harsh products?
Your chemical-free bathroom cleaning tools
Over the last 24 years, ENJO International have been perfecting their fibre technology so that they can offer cleaning products that clean effectively, and safely with just water.
Why cleaning your bathroom without harsh chemicals is better
Cleaning without chemicals…
1. Improves indoor air quality
It’s estimated that indoor air is already five-times more polluted than outside air1, adding chemicals from cleaning products in such a confined space pollutes the air further. As we spend the vast majority of our time indoors, indoor air quality is important, you want to improve the quality of the air you’re breathing especially if you or family members suffer from asthma or allergies.
2. Makes cleaning safer
Reducing chemical use anywhere in the home will ultimately make it a safer space to live, and it’s especially important in a space where your skin is exposed to the surrounding environment.
3. Saves water
Around 80% of the water we use flows straight down the drain2, switching to a chemical-free way to clean will help reduce your household wastewater. No chemicals means no need to rinse away chemical residue. Simply fill your 500ml Trigger Spray Bottle with water and spray as you go.
4. Reduces household waste
No chemicals means no contaminated wastewater and no packaging waste. ENJO products are packed into a reusable laundry bag – product and packaging that you wash instead of waste. Plus, ENJO products are reusable for 3 years and upcycled at the end of their useful cleaning life.
5. Protects fixtures and fittings
Certain chemicals (and the combination of certain chemicals) can cause damage or corrosion to materials, fixtures and fittings. Cleaning with just water and fibre technology removes that risk.
6. Means quicker cleaning
Wet, wipe and dry is the quickest cleaning technique around. You don’t have to spray and wait, there’s no harmful residue to rinse away, simply wet your fibre, wipe clean and dry with your super-absorbent Miracle.
7. Cleans more effectively
ENJO’s fibre technology and water have proven to be more effective at cleaning than the chemical equivalent. It all comes down to how ENJO works.
How does ENJO work?
ENJO fibres are superfine (100 times finer than a human hair), and each superfine fibre is wedged-shape for optimal loosening and lifting of dirt.
The way ENJO weave their fibres is unique, with each product having a different composition of fibres and weave designed to suit the cleaning surface and purpose.
For example, bathroom fibres are better suited to cleaning soap scum, mould and limescale on hard and tiled surfaces, whereas ENJO’s kitchen fibres are designed to cut through grease and grime from a range of surfaces commonly found in the kitchen.
