ENJO Australia and a mum on a mission

Believe it or not, ENJO Australia and its environmentally friendly cleaning products were brought to market by a former self-confessed bleach queen, Barb de Corti of Perth.

She’d used pretty much every chemical on the supermarket shelf. But while her house looked perfect, her family’s health was far from it. Her young son was suffering debilitating asthma attacks, the cause of which turned out to be those wonderfully fresh-smelling chemicals.

In search of a healthier cleaning routine, Barb looked beyond Perth and Australia and discovered the ENJO range of environmentally friendly cleaning products. Using ENJO’s clever fibres and just a little water, the amount of chemicals in her home was suddenly reduced to virtually nothing. Her son’s asthma attacks became far less frequent and her house gleamed.

Keen to spread the good word, Barb established ENJO Australia, recruited a team of ENJO Consultants and started holding Demos that very same year. And what began with a Perth mum on a mission in 1994 has now become the leader in environmentally friendly cleaning products.
